Castleton Botanical Gardens
A botanical garden beside the Wag Water River in St. Mary, one of the island’s older public gardens, with large shade trees and plants from many parts of the world. A calm, easy stop on the road between Kingston and the north coast, and a good first stop for visitors who do not want a hike.
Getting there
Easy. Flat paths and a short visit. Confirm opening hours and any entry fee, and check that the grounds are fully open after storm damage.
