A mid-18th-century British fort on the point of Lucea Harbour, built in 1756 and named for Queen Charlotte. A circular gun base and the artillery store still stand. A history stop, not a nature one.

Getting there

Easy. It is in the town of Lucea. Check with the Jamaica National Heritage Trust for current access and any entry charge.
