Kwame Falls
A free, little-known river and waterfall near Robins Bay, named for Kwame, a warrior who fought alongside Tacky in 1760. It is reached by a long coastal hike of roughly 5 to 6 km or by boat, usually starting from Blessings at Strawberry Fields. A little over an hour’s drive from Kingston.
Getting there
Moderate to hard. Long hike over rough ground where the trail is easy to lose, so go with a guide from Blessings at Strawberry Fields. The pin marks the falls, but Google Maps will not show the trail, so start from Blessings at Strawberry Fields.
