C-Pond Waterfall
A twin waterfall with a deep, very cold pool in the Sugar Loaf district of Gordon Town, less than an hour from Kingston. Park at the small Penfield square and take the right-hand trail (the left one goes up to Penfield Falls). The pin marks the Penfield trailhead, not the falls.
Getting there
Hard. About 30 minutes, mostly uphill, then a steep descent over loose rock, with two wooden ladders left by residents. Not for the faint-hearted. A guide is not required, but local guides run visits, and you should take care near the deep part of the pool.
