Lime Cay
A small, uninhabited sandy islet in the Port Royal Cays, roughly 50 by 100 metres, with a white sand edge and a wooded middle. Weekdays are usually quiet, while Sundays bring Kingston locals with their own boats and music.
Getting there
Boat only, about 15 minutes each way in an open fishing boat from the Port Royal dock. Visitor reports put the fare at about J$500 to 800 per person, or no more than about US$10, so agree the price and the return pickup time before you leave. No facilities, so bring food, water, shade and a waterproof bag, and take your trash home. Snorkeling is reported best at the calm north end. The channel can be rough, so ask about conditions, and go with a reputable operator.
